The Lung Association, Alberta & NWT supports medical research and patient care programs, provides information about lung health, and advocates for public policies that promote respiratory wellness.

Baycrest is a world leader in neuroscience and memory research. The Foundation delivers evidence-based services to more than 2,500 seniors each day and provides education, products, and services that promote healthy cognitive functioning.

The Canadian Cancer Society's goal is to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life of those living with cancer. The Society funds and provides information, support, and services to those living with cancer as well as their family members, friends, and caregivers.

The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society works cooperatively with government, First Nations, business, and other organizations to protect Canada's wilderness areas and to promote a greater understanding of the value of Canada's natural ecosystems.

Child Find Canada is a charitable organization that promotes the rights and safety of children. CFC also sponsors the Green Ribbon of Hope Campaign to help the families of children who are missing.

Friends of Kananaskis Country supports the sustainable use of Kananaskis Country and the protection and sharing of its natural and cultural resources. Major initiatives include trail care and environmental education.

Global Giving supports more than 1,000 charitable organizations worldwide. The focus of individual projects ranges from education, employment, emergency relief, health care, and environmental programs.

Hope Mission is a not-for-profit social agency caring for impoverished and homeless men, women, and children in Alberta. The mission has managed to employ almost 25,000 volunteer hours to serve 1,000 meals daily in recent months, while providing beds to more than 500 people needing shelter nightly. In a single year, the agency provided housing for close to 100 Edmontonians, and in one day, it provided care for over 800.

The Jasper Place Health and Wellness Centre provides food, showers, clothing, and help finding transportation, housing and employment to Edmonton's disenfranchised.

Kids Cancer Care meets the needs of Alberta families and children at each stage of the cancer journey, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

The Mustard Seed delivers short-term food, clothing, and shelter to the poor of Edmonton while working to create sustainable changes int their lives through long-term housing and employment.

The Nature Conservancy of Canada partners with individuals, government corporations, and non-profits to acquire and manage ecologically significant land on an ongoing basis.

The Parkinson's Society of Canada represents Canadians impacted by neurodegenerative disease through essential education, support and advocacy. The Parkinson's Society of Canada has invested more than $21 million in research initiatives in the last thirty years to help more than 100,000 Canadians living with Parkinson's every day.

Samaritan's Purse Canada provides spiritual and physical aid to people in need. Samaritan's Purse works in 45 countries, offering emergency relief, community development, health and vocational programs, and water and medical projects.

The Canadian Red Cross offers health care programs, relief supplies, water, sanitation and shelter to people affected by conflicts or natural disaster. Millions of individuals worldwide are supported by the Red Cross every year.

The Salvation Army provides social services in more than 400 Canadian communities, delivering food, clothing and shelter to children and families in need while offering rehabilitation services to those suffering from addiction.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul provides emergency relief, including food, clothing, furniture, and household items, to those struggling through misfortune, poverty, and difficult circumstances.

UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund, is active in some 190 countries and territories, helping to feed, clothe, immunize, and educate children, while advocating for their rights worldwide.

World Vision Canada helps children, families, and communities move from vulnerability and poverty to sustainability and strength. Major initiatives include emergency relief, aid to refugees, and school programs for children.

The World Wildlife Fund protects endangered species, sensitive ecosystems, and habitats from the dangers of climate change, deforestation, and illegal wildlife trading.
