Cellular Glass

Amity Protherm Cellular Glass is ideally suited to insulating piping and equipment applications above or below ground. Our cellular glass is manufactured to meet or exceed the requirements of ASTM C 552.

Protherm Cellular Glass is manufactured in an ISO 9001 certified facility in block form. Amity subsequently fabricates the block into pipe covering, fittings, sidewall segments, and other shapes, at its Alberta-based fabrication facilities to meet your needs for custom materials.

When used with a vapour barrier mastic to seal joints along with jacketing, cellular glass plays a key role in today’s mechanical insulation systems. The characteristics of Amity’s cellular glass are ideal when working with pipe, equipment, tanks, vessels, and other mechanical insulation system components.
